Disney has a way of showcasing romance in a very fairytale style. They succeed in doing so as well. While it might appear to be unrealistic to many, a sprinkle of Disney touch does no harm.
Sarah and Gilbert Hernandez’s relationship has been all about Disney since the very beginning. As a couple, the first movie they watched was ‘Up’, their first-holiday destination was Disneyland. Moreover, they have the annual passes to the park. However, the most interesting thing is that they got engaged in a very Disney theme style which will steal your breath away.
Meet the lovely couple Sarah and Gilbert Hernandez.
As you can see, their engagement was set in a magical theme inspired by the movie “Tangled.”
Hence, when the decision about the venue of the wedding was made, they chose the Disneyland in Anaheim, California for it.
The couple tied the knot on September 8 in a gorgeous ceremony at the Rose Court Garden. Later, there was a reception at the Trillium. All of which was planned By Disney’s Fairy Tale Wedding.
It was an unforgettable experience.
The feeling Disney gives them is truly magical.
“We’ve both been going to Disneyland since we were kids, and it’s always been a home away from home for us,” the groom told HuffPost via email. “We love the feeling of magic that Disneyland gives us every time we go, whether it be a multi-day extravaganza or just passing by the parks to take a short walk and grab a churro and a corndog.”
There was a Cinderella themed carriage for the bride to arrive in.
Including a cameo by Mickey and Minnie.
Even the cake topping was ‘Up’ themed along with the rest of the food.
To add a cherry on the top, the couple along with the guest had exclusive access to the Toy Story Mania.
All and all it was an enchanting experience for the couple.
The favorite part of the entire day for the groom was to see her bride in the wedding dress for the first time.
“Seeing her came with the realization that I would be spending the rest of my life with a real-life princess,” Gilbert told HuffPost. “I was overwhelmed with emotion and couldn’t handle myself. Nothing else in the world mattered in that moment.”
