Twitter Is Heating Up At Jennifer Lawrence’s And Her Colleagues Picture For A Movie Promotion

Academy Award Winner and The Hunger Games American actress Jennifer Shrader Lawrence is stirring up the media and the Internet world when she stepped out for promoting her upcoming spy-thriller movie Red Sparrow in a black velvet Versace gown held at Corinthia Hotel London, Feb. 20, 2018.

The 27-year-old actress looks flawless in this dress but wait, till you see this picture with her male colleagues during the photocall.

The photo includes Joel Edgerton, Jeremy Irons, Matthias Schoenaerts and director Francis and Jennifer in the middle. All the men are totally cuddled up in warm and heavy clothing. You can also see in the picture that it was a rather cloudy, windy and rainy day in London. If these men were dressed in proper suits no-one would have seen the difference but they are actually bulked in with overcoats and jackets. Then there’s gorgeous Jennifer with a thigh-high slit.

People on twitter started debating about the drastic difference in the outfit and if Jennifer was forced for it.

Exactly, she chose it in her right mind so she knows what she is doing.

And just because she’s a woman she has to show skin and that gets dollars rolling in?

Wow so much equality and non-oppression.

And some are wondering if she had a say in what she wears or not.

This person tweeted against the irrelevant fuss over the choice of the clothing.

While we’re at it, let’s dig a little about the dress.

The dress is a classic sultry Versace Pre-Fall 2018 slit-to-the-thigh gown inspired by the 1994 hit dress worn by Elizabeth Hurley with the signature gold details on the straps.

And this is the Versace dress that Elizabeth Hurley wore at a red carpet premiere with Hugh Grant in 1994.

It was only a matter of time for Jennifer to get this absurd news and yes, she made it very clear about her choice.

The actress was shocked and left with utter confusion when she heard that half of the people in the world was criticizing her over her outfit. She posted a long paragraph on her Facebook page just 6 hours ago to answer to the illogical and unnecessary attention she had to deal with wearing a pretty dress that she wouldn’t deny wearing it any day even in the snow.

Here is the post she updated on the issue.

Well, who would want to cover up that devouringly gorgeous dress?

In her words, “This is not only utterly ridiculous, I am extremely offended. That Versace dress was fabulous, you think I’m going to cover that gorgeous dress up with a coat and a scarf? I was outside for 5 minutes. I would have stood in the snow for that dress because I love fashion and that was my choice.”

“Over-reacting about everything someone says or does, creating controversy over silly innocuous things such as what I choose to wear or not wear, is not moving us forward. It’s creating silly distractions from real issues. Get a grip, people. Everything you see me wear is my choice. And if I want to be cold THATS MY CHOICE TOO!”

Last but not the least, before anything, she’s a woman! And she has every right to wear what she wants just like those men who preferred wearing cozy clothes. Simple as that!
