This Walmart Cashier’s Simple Act Of Kindness Can Teach The World Many Lessons

The world we live in is filled with all kinds of people. And sometimes we are so engrossed in seeing the darker sides of the world that the goodness is hidden away under the clouds of evilness. But then there are some people who shine amid all the bad like the ray of lightning. You meet them and you go all ‘whoa, what level of humanity is this?’ And as it turns out, the level is 101.

This is the story about a sweet act of kindness done by a cashier for an old man. It was on November 9th, Spring Herbison Bowlin from Clarksdale, Mississippi that humanity saw an inspiring act leading us to believe in the goodwill deed done by her,

The post will introduce you to an elderly man who was experiencing some problem while making the payment for his purchase. It is then when the Walmart employee jumped in and offered to help him.

It exploded the internet for all the right reasons. After being shared for more than 52k times, it took over the world and now we are here talking about it.

As we live in a world which is becoming more and more digital each passing day, it is becoming quite difficult to find someone using the old school method of using checks or coins to pay anyone. So when this old guy feeling embarrassed about it, we feel bad about it.

He feels sorry for the inconvenience he thought he was causing and kept on saying sorry to both the cashier and the lady standing beside him.

“He miscounts and starts to get flustered. Gives me a muttered, ‘I’m so sorry.’ His hands and voice are shaking. This beautiful cashier takes his hands and dumps all the change on the counter and says, ‘This is not a problem, honey. We will do this together.’ He continues to apologize to both of us as we reassure him it’s ok. They get his transaction handled and he shuffles away.”

And then it ended even more beautifully.

“I looked at this wonderful woman and said, ‘Thank-you for being so patient with him.’ She shakes her head and replies, ‘You shouldn’t have to thank me, baby. What’s wrong with our world is we’ve forgotten how to love one another.’ I want to be more like her.”

This story only goes on to tell us that we should treat everyone with love and respect.
